Cornbread may have the age of a senior, but he doesn’t know it! He is full of personality & is very active. He is good to catch, groom, lead, tack, & stands well for the farrier.

Health & Care: Cornbread has a history of untreated Cushings, and therefore must be managed with low carb feed, daily Prascend, and dry lot living. Consistent hoof trims are also needed as he still is getting back on track. He is fine in daily life barefoot but we add boots for riding on frozen, rocky, or hard ground.

Suitable For: Cornbread was gelded late in life and is excitable; he doesn’t do well in a busy/active barn or around mares. He would love a quiet farm with a few geldings and a light job.

Enjoys: Cornbread is good for light work under saddle with a rider under 90 lbs. He is ready for new adventures on trail or in the arena! He would be great with a child or an active adult that wants to take him for walks and give him a job.
